Manual Queries

Manual queries can be run using SQL*Plus. This section provides information about one:  Number of Records Released from Staff Hold.

Number of Records Released from Staff Hold

This query can be manually run against the audit tables. Indexes for birth date and/or update stamp are included and the query can be run with a specific date range.

The patient level output includes SIIS ID number, name (First Name, Last Name), DOB, Starting Block Mail Reason, Ending Block Mail Reason (Staff Hold), Date Block Mail Reason Changed (all entities with dates of changes), Valid Address field value of Deceased, and date last successful mailing was sent (not failed or withheld).

The aggregate output includes total number of records changed from staff hold to null block mail value for a specific date, number of those switched that have a valid address on the Master Record, number of changed records with an inactive value of Deceased, and number of changed records with an out-of-state address on their Master Record.

There is a Staff_Hold directory where the files to run the report are located. There is a readme.txt file in that directory with instructions for generating the report. This report requires that audit logging be enabled and that there are records in the h33_patient_reserve_audit table.

To execute the report, double-click the StaffHold.bat file, which opens a SQL*Plus window. Enter a date range when the prompt appears. The procedure then automatically executes and the report file is sent to the directory.
