First Responder Module User Guide

The First Responder module tracks the demographic and vaccination data for personnel that are authorized to respond to public health emergencies. The module also tracks contact information and the type of bio-event that a responder is prepared to respond to. Although it is commonly referred to as FRITS (First Responder Immunization Tracking System), this module is a product of the State Immunization Information System (SIIS).

Users required the First Responder Access permission in IWeb in order to be able to access this module.

Depending on access level, the following tasks can be performed in the First Responder module:

Search for responders in the central registry (also known as the state registry database or central database)
Create/update responder demographics
Create/update vaccination records (current and historical)
Create/update the names of physicians and vaccinators
Create/update vaccine inventory information
Run/print reports
Submit queries and reports for reminder/recall appointments
Generate exports for the PVS (CDC Pre-Event Vaccination System) database
