Arizona Settings

This settings page is used to run the electronic birth and death data capture process.

Vital Records Export

This feature allows the system administrator to run the electronic birth and death data capture processes. The Log information on imports option is viewable and the import process can be run manually, with the option to specify the starting date to run the import.

The vaccine's lot number, father's race and ethnicity, mother's race and ethnicity, and mother's mailing address are captured on birth imports.
State and country of birth are inferred from the Birth File Number on birth imports.
VFC eligibility is inferred from the method of payment on birth imports.

When the scheduled process runs, all dates are truncated to determine which records are to be imported.

It is safest to schedule this process to run well after midnight, just in case records are still being inserted with a Regis_Date containing the prior calendar day. Thus, the records processed would be those where Regis_Date fits into the following date.

To run the vital records export, click the Administration > Arizona Settings > Vital Records Export link. The Run Export page opens. Enter the From Date and click either of the two buttons:

Run EBC - To run the Electronic Birth Certificate export.
Run EDC - To run the Electronic Death Certificate export.

With either button choice, the export results display in the appropriate area of the page.

The RUNALL script runs automatically and imports the records into the application. The patients can be seen in the database the day after the script runs.

To exit the page, select a different menu option.
