Child Care Properties

The terms "Child Care" and "Child Care Facility" are used synonymously and are visible when logged in as a Registry Client.

Authorized users can access the Child Care properties by clicking on the Administration > Settings > Properties link, then clicking on the Child Care category heading.

To configure the settings, enable (select) or disable (deselect) the options, enter any required information, and click Save at the bottom of the page. Changes affect users the next time they log in to the application or module.

Click Reset to erase new or updated entries and reset them as they were after the last submit was done.

The options and fields on this page are as follows:

Option/Field	Description
Display Requirements Reminder	Select this option to display the Child Care Requirements Reminder text when the user logs in to the Child Care module for the first time. To configure the text to display, enter it in the Administration > Child Care > Child Care Requirements options. See Child Care Settings for more information.
Enable Absenteeism	Select this option to allow the Child Care > Absenteeism link to appear.
Enable Exemption at Patient Level	Select this option to allow an exemption to be entered at the patient level and remove "wording" from the Child Care Detail report.
Enable Exemption at Vaccine Level	Select this option to allow an exemption to be entered at the vaccine level, thus displaying the Contraindication button. This results in a new button that displays on the Vaccination view/add page that opens the Add Exemption - Additional Disease Information page. A new exemption option of Parent or Patient Refusal: Religious is also available. Contraindications recorded by Child Care module users are flagged as unverified.
Hide HBIG in Child Care	Select this option to hide the HBIG (Hepatitis B Immune Globulin) vaccine after giving a historical shot. When a user attempts to select the HBIG vaccine on the Vaccination view/add page, the HBIG vaccination added successfully but will not display due to property settings message appears. The shot is saved, but does not display for the user.
Require Health District on Child Care Maintenance	Select this option to require Child Care users to enter a Health District when creating Child Care Facilities via the Child Care Maintenance page.
