The buttons on the Patient Demographics Master View page allow users to edit programs and high risk categories, when configured by the system administrator. For information about searching for and editing patient records, see Search for Patients and Add/Edit Patient Records.
When displayed, click this button to enter special programs offered by the state. Examples include WIC, KIDSHOTS, and KIDVACCS. The programs differ by state. From the Patient Programs page, you can add, update, and remove programs and member IDs. Click Save Changes when finished.
All programs are entered at the state level. To track a program that is not on the list, contact the state.
Users cannot update and remove programs at the same time. A Remove operation overrides an Update. |
This is a state-configurable option that allows the user to select one or more high-risk medical categories that are appropriate for the patient. If the state has not defined any categories, the button is not displayed.
These conditions are private and cannot be seen outside of the Organization (IRMS). However, a flag indicating the patient has 1+ high risk categories becomes public information. The flag is a message stating to Contact the primary care provider for more information about this patient's high risk categories. |
To edit high risk categories, click the Edit High Risk Categories button on the Patient Demographics Master View page. On the page that opens, select the high risk categories from the Available Categories box and click the arrow button that points to the right to move them to the Current Categories box. To remove a high risk category, click it in the Current Categories box and click the arrow button that points to the left. Click Save when finished.
