The Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) module provides the capability to accept a patient listing to be matched to existing registry records. This data is only a sampling of patients and is not imported into the registry. Based on the sample, a vaccination export can be created for the matched patients and their vaccinations. Additionally, a report can be run to view the patients without matches.

User access levels depend on how the HEDIS module is used and the permissions given. There are HEDIS permissions to create data profiles and to perform assessments.
HEDIS export can also capture date information when a child has a contraindication for Varicella indicating parent report of disease. Managed care plans are required to provide information when a patient had chickenpox but no record of vaccination, or if a patient indicates they had chickenpox and thus do not need a Varicella vaccination.
